Processes and security

  • Is the contract legit?

    ensure safety and compliance. Each party will receive a copy after signing the contract, renewals can be made 30 days before the expiration date.

  • Would your company and your software developers be willing to sign an NDA?

    Yes, we value and protect your information. Before initiating any activities an NDA between both parties would be required.

  • Does your company provide support if new talent requirements are needed?

    Yes, in case you need additional support or new requirements arise, please contact us to analyze and validate your options.

  • How do you work to reduce employee attrition?

    At Emcorsoft, we have a strong company culture. Our Human Resources department coordinates different team-building activities and special events. We have additional benefits than required by the law to ensure a healthy and balanced working environment. Additionally, we do proactive salary adjustments based on performance plus internal evaluations to verify employee satisfaction.

    Once the hiring process is complete, there would be constant communication between the account manager and the responsible party at your organization to ensure the developer is delivering the expected results and all the activities are done to ensure the achievement of the desired goals.

  • How is Emcorsoft’s hiring process?

    Through a comprehensive process, we connect remote software developers from Mexico with IT companies who are looking to expand their teams and operations.

    Our hiring process goes as follows:


    • Initial interview (HR validation/soft skills/availability/adaptability/1st screen of Technical skills)
    • English Validation (language level validation - reading/comprehension/conversation)
    • Technical Interview (Skill Validations - level of the candidate with a matching position/requirement)

    We conduct these 3 stages before we proceed to hire any Software Developer.

  • How do you track your Software Development team's performance?

    We conduct a Performance Evaluation Review after the first 60 days of starting activities, then we perform another evaluation once a year. Our account managers are available to discuss if there are any changes in the developer’s performance and you can reach out during any of our operations days.

Doubts about the rates

  • Is there a hiring fee?

    No, we don’t charge you for any hiring or recruitment fee, this is normally done by recruiting agencies. As a Software Development company providing staffing services, our aim is that you have the right person on your team.

  • Does your company provide the developer’s equipment?

    Yes, we will provide the developer’s equipment which should be requested directly from our client with specific details before the start of activities. Additionally, working-related material must be addressed during the recruitment process.

  • How do I pay the Software Developers assigned to my team?

    You will receive an invoice for the services rendered and you can pay directly to our bank accounts in the United States, PayPal, or Payoneer.

  • Do I need to pay for Social Benefits to the Software Developers?

    No, Emcorsoft would be responsible to cover all the expenses from the Software Developer such as salary, social security benefits, vacation pay, etc. As a client, you are just responsible to pay the amount listed on the invoice provided by Emcorsoft.

  • In which time zone do the developers work?

    Our team members can cover all continental U.S. time zones (PST - MST - CST - EST) and often align with the client’s time zone.

  • Which working holiday schedule do your Software Developers follow?

    As most of our software developers are based out of Mexico, they follow the Mexican working schedule which includes certain festivities. This calendar is provided to the client before starting activities.

  • How can I validate your Software Developers' technical skills?

    We would schedule a call/video call for you to interview the selected team members. You can validate their technical skills through different assessment tests of your choice.

  • What type of education do your Software Developers have?

    All of our Software Developers are undergraduates holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or IT-related fields, plus the required certifications in a specific technology - programming language. We do also have developers holding Masters's Degrees.

  • Can I request to change the software developer assigned to my project?

    Yes, our mission is to connect you with a software developer that could work as an extension of your team, and both you and the developer feel comfortable working together. In case, this is not happening, we can provide alternative solutions.

  • What is the English language level of your developers?

    The English level of our developers assigned to Staff Augmentation projects is at least B2 (upper-intermediate), as this is the minimum requirement for most hiring partners. In each case, we will review the assignment and English level needed to introduce qualified candidates.

  • What is the main communication channel between the developers and the client?

    We use Slack for business communication, however, we are flexible with our client’s preferences. Our team members are used to communicating with our clients through Video Conferences. Most of our clients prefer face-to-face communication through online platforms (Zoom, Meets, etc).

Time

  • How long would it take for a Software Developer to be assigned to my team?

    It all depends on the nature of your requirement, and the expertise level of the Software Developer you may need. On average our comprehensive process allows us to assign a software developer within 4 weeks.

  • What is the duration of the projects - assignments?

    For Customized Software Development - Web & App Development projects we normally engage with projects lasting no less than 6 months of duration. For Staff Augmentation assignments a 12+ month engagement is required due to the complexity of each hiring process and current market needs.

  • Are there any Full Time & Part Time resources?

    We offer both, however, most of our projects and talent resources are planned for Full-Time opportunities (160 hours per month / 40 hours per week). In case a Part-Time requirement is needed we would review it accordingly.
